Aaron Frederick Custom DP1 Large Damascus Folder 3102

This hand-made Custom DP1 Folder by Aaron Frederick features Chad Nichols 3V stainless Damascus and Structural Carbon Fiber. Very cool stuff! Just exquisitely crafted, every small detail by hand. It is a medium-large sized folder with a snazzy tactical look. This one is brand new direct from Mr. Aaron Frederick.

The Blade: The 3V Damascus is hollow ground to a drop point with slight upper swedge and diagonal jimping on the thumb rest. It opens smoothly via its Cheetah damascus thumb disk and locks up solid when open. Aaron's logo appears at the base of the tang.

The Handle: Lighter, silver-toned Twist stainless damascus bolsters break up the darker blade and carbon fiber handle scales for a stellar look. Structural carbon fiber is a thicker woven version of the material from leftovers/cutoffs of Apache and Cobra helicopters. This stuff looks killer in person! Ergonomic and palm-filling. Polished, jeweled and blue ano'd titanium liners are hand-filed and hold tight to a thicker backspacer creating solid-as-a-rock construction. And gorgeous too! 

This DP1 Large Folder is finished off with a Cheetah damascus pocket clip made by Aaron's father-in-law and fellow maker John W. Smith for tip up carry. It comes with a Star Wars themed hank hand-stitched by Aaron's Mother.
