Grand Prairie Knives is a family owned and operated business who has served the cutlery and outdoors community since 1994. Located just 20 minutes from the St. Louis Arch, our 2,200 square foot showroom houses over 50 brands and 2,000 products. We achieve high customer satisfaction by providing an expansive product selection, unparalleled value for money, and high standards of service, industry knowledge and support.

As a family business, owner Mike Payton and his two children have been involved in the knife industry for over 15 years. As Justin and Jamie grew up in the industry, they have acquired an abundance of knowledge in order to provide advanced customer support. Justin is the webmaster for gpknives.com and strives to provide an efficient online experience. Jamie is the general office manager and happy to help with anything that crosses her desk. Mike’s long time friend, Bill, works in the showroom and is pleased to share his knowledge.

Grand Prairie Knives’ showroom is located in Troy, IL only 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis. We are the largest retailer of knives, sharpeners, and cutlery accessories in the Bi-State St. Louis area. Our showroom is conveniently open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST.
