This is a new Prototype version of an Alan Folts custom Outrider linerlock folder that's been "Punked". This is a classy, larger gentleman's folder with a steampunk inspired design.
The Blade: Alan's polished finish adorns this modified clip styled blade with long upper harpoon swedge grind. Ambidextrous dual thumb stud operation for smooth, reliable deployment on bronze washers. Choose between the nicely jimped ramp for grip or the smooth scoop prior to the upper swedge for thumb placement. Also a bit of jimping at the bottom for the forefinger to grip comfortably behind the cutting edge.
The Handle: Full titanium liners are brightly polished and get the killer ergonomics going. Comfort is at the forefront on the Outrider. Titanium bolsters have been brush finished, anodized and hand carved by Alan in a gear or cogwheel punky-style. Fitting are the ivory G10 handle scales. Polished and just gorgeous on this piece. The whole thing is accented with bronze titanium hardware and backspacer. Includes a tip up positioned titanium pocket clip for transport.
This Prototype is direct from maker Alan Folts and comes in a black slip pouch.
