Alan Folts Sultan Folder Silver Lightning Strike Blue Bolsters

The Bolstered Sultan folder custom made by Alan Folts is a fine specimen tagged with plenty of shiny bells and whistles. Textured blue bolsters and clip are too cool. Combine those with some catchy Silver Lightning Strike and you've got a winner.

The Blade: One of Alan's big swooping clip points with a recurve near the beginning outfits the Sultan granting good looks and good taste. Its upper swedge grind down to its pointy tip really sets this one off. Such a stunner this one with a hand rubbed satin finish and easy one handed deployment thanks to dual thumb stud openers. Alan added jimping on the top and bottom of the blade for a unique grip seldom seen, yet quite comfortable. 

The Handle: The foundation of this Sultan starts with blue anodized titanium liners, with one creating the locking mechanism. Mr. Folts uses silver titanium Torx hardware to attach the starry silver lightning strike carbon fiber scales and textured blue Ti bolsters. These bolsters and milled clip have this hammered/jeweled thing going on that is just outstanding. You won't want to stop looking at or touching them. He calls the clip a milled lanyard clip because it has a built in lanyard hole near the top of it. Nice. 

This custom Sultan comes delivered in a Folts roll up pouch with specs card from the maker.
