For 2012, Benchmade has expanded their current lineup to include the highly anticipated 62 Weehawk SS Bali that's sure to be a crowd pleaser, a stunning new Black Class model 810 Contego and a couple Nakamura designed gentleman's folders. They are also expanding the newly acquired Lone Wolf brand of knives with a folding fillet, new caper and skinner plus fixed hunters and a tactical folder called the Landslide.
The Benchmade 62 Balisong is a stainless steel sandwiched-style version bali with a crowned weehawk style D2 blade. The SS handles are machined and brought to a high polish finish to create a well-balanced modern design.
The Benchmade 810 Contego features a super tough CPM-M4 powder steel blade available in a clear or black Cerakote finish to withstand the elements. There are also two new Nakamura Nak-Lok designs sporting S30V steel and handle materials that include carbon fiber and cocobolo wood.
The 2012 Benchmade Gold Class 940-121 is a real show-stopper. The popular 940 Osbourne gets a makeover with green anodized titanium scales and carbon fiber bolsters. The modified reverse tanto CPM-M4 blade has a clear Cerakote protective coating and all hardware has a TiCN(Titanium CarboNitride) coating for enhanced wear resistance.
Along with these great new models from Benchmade, be on the lookout in 2012 for new models in the HK and Harley-Davidson lines plus a few surprises sprinkled in.
