The Blackjack Warner Moran Rio Grande Camp Knife is a limited production collectible made for the Blackjack compay by Moki in Japan. The camp knife has a large drop point blade, genuine stag handle and double brass guard. 600 of the Rio Grande Camp Knife were produced for Blackjack with approximately 100 offering the genuine stag handle.
This item is pre-owned and in near mint condition. Slight horizontal scuffing can be seen on the front and backside of the blade, likely from being taken in and out of it's sheath. The knife was carried for reenactments, but was never used. Includes original sheath and retail Blackjack Box.
The Blade: Produced of a 1/4" stock of CS51 carbon steel, the blade has been ground to a large drop point ideal for a variety of uses. Satin finished with "WARNER-MORAN, RIO GRANDE, BLACKJACK" tang stamp on front side and "JAPAN, FORGE QUALITY, CARBON STEEL" on backside.
The Handle: Genuine stag handle slabs have been pinned to the beefy full tang via brass pins to compliment the double brass guard. The handle is very simply designed with little in the way of ergonomics, yet somehow still very comfortable in a medium/large hand.
The Sheath: Includes original black leather sheath with belt loop and snap closure. The sheath shows scuffing consistent with light wear and storage.
