A tough, lightweight elegant design from the Boker Germany line of knives and the creative mind of maker Jens Ansø comes the all New Aurora titanium Frame Lock. Its humpbacked handle and big-bellied drop point blade have a natural feel in hand. Excellent craftsmanship from some of the oldest knife makers in the world bring you the Aurora.
The Blade: A big swooping slicer built from American 154CM stainless steel and given an aggressively tumbled finish. Just a touch over three inches of cutting edge would work for anything from practical every day cutting to skinning small game. A high flat grind provides seamless cutting that won't get caught up in whatever you're working on. A real nice ambidextrous thumb hole window for opening the blade that glides along like glass on brass washers surrounding the pivot. Each blade is individually numbered on the back.
The Handle: Two thick slabs of titanium have been two-tone anodized in a bronze/dark purple fashion for an attractive appeal. The front is machined in a sunburst pattern that not only looks outstanding, but provides grip texturing as well. The reverse slab is smooth to the touch and has a frame lock mechanism for confident lock up. Open titanium barrel spacers construction on the Aurora with titanium hardware.
The Aurora from Boker Germany is as desirable as it is functional. Its beauty will be at home in your collection or its durability in your pocket. It includes a single position steel pocket clip fixed for tip-down carry.
