Tidioute Cutlery

Great Eastern Tidioute knives feature 1095 carbon steel blades which have a satin finish and receive a Tidioute tang stamp. GEC has resurrected the Tidioute Cutlery Company’s tang stamp and traditional shield. The Northfield Knife Company was a prominent knife maker in the US from 1897 to 1916. The traditional patterned knives have exotic wood, North American cattle bone or genuine stag handles. All of the jigging for Great Eastern’s unique jigged bone is done on site in the GEC bone works. Most of the Great Eastern Northfield knives also receive the traditional Tidioute shield as a final touch.
