The all-new Tighe Fighter custom model direct from maker Brian Tighe means business. It's a bit stockier and trends more toward the tactical end of the spectrum for Brian's designs. The handle is more palm-filling and the blade stock is about 0.156 inches thick. A Tighe Fighter Flipper is beefy, but Brian keeps this beast an easy carry weighing in at a hair under 5.50 ounces.
The Blade: A compound ground drop point-styled blade means excellent utility cutting with tough endurance. All of the grinds have a light Cracked Ice (light tumbling/high polish) finish while the flats have a horizontal satin finish. Brian's signature appears on the front while #3 appears on the back and is outfitted with dual thumb studs or integral flipper deployment. Silky smooth operation thanks to Brian's ceramic ball bearings STBS (Sealed Thrust Bearings) system.
The Handle: 3D machined titanium is used for the entire handle with carbon fiber backspacer. No liners needed thus reducing the weight considerably. It's well-balanced with finger grooves that just lock into your hand. All of the flats have been bead-blasted for a nice texture while the machine lines have contrasting high silver polish. Large lanyard window cut out at the bottom exposing the carbon fiber with large button lock for secured cutting.
The new Tighe Fighter from maker Brian Tighe is another home run. It's modern, dramatic and sophisticated looks will have you coming back for more. Included is a tumbled titanium Tighe signature pocket clip with ceramic ball retention for tip up carry and a signature zipper pouch.
