The Tighe Tac Two model from custom maker Brian Tighe is a modern interpretation of the tactical gentleman's pocket knife. Progressive knife designs are Mr. Tighe's forte as he is no stranger to unique lines and configurations. Appealing to the modern man or woman with outstanding fit and finish one would expect from such an elite maker.
The Blade: This is a 3.5 inch model featuring a hollow ground clip point-styled Damasteel blade. It's extremely pointy and has a hypnotic swirl pattern throughout. There is a nice upper swedge grind and Brian's signature marking on the front. Dual thumb stud openers as well as an integral flipper tab option for deployment. The gorgeous steel glides on Brian's STBS (Sealed Thrust Bearings System) for some of the smoothest operation on the planet.
The Handle: Two Black TiMascus (combination of titanium and zirconium) slabs have been machined in a zig-zag pattern with dark blues/purples/black splotches throughout. Not only does it look cool, but the ergonomics make it feel cool too. Built into the handle is a tough button lock used to hold the blade open. Two barrel spacers open construction.
The Tighe Tac Two is a very cool design from Brian that the knife company CRKT is producing in 2016. This custom version includes a tip-up carry textured titanium pocket clip and Brian Tighe signature zipper pouch.
