Description

The Brian Tighe Custom "Tighnee Nirk" Blue is a scaled down version of Brian's original Nirk Tighe creation. The knife design was inspired by fellow knifemaker and designer Glenn Klecker, who created an integral lockbar system known as the Klecker lock. After receiving permission from Glenn, Brian tried this himself on a CNC machine. This Tighnee Nirk has extremely lightweight titanium handles which have been CNC machined to create the elaborate cutouts and integral lock mechanism. The handle was then polished and anodized blue to accent the cutouts. Formed of BG-42 steel, the blade was milled and carved to create extremely smooth lines. When combined with a flipper, the sealed thrust needle bearing system provides optimum opening action. A polished stainless steel pocket clip has been attached for right-handed tip-up carry. Includes a nylon zipper sheath with a leather patch bearing Brian Tighe's imprinted signature. This knife is brand new directly from Brian Tighe. Made in Canada.
