The Small Brahma from Buck Knives is the USA Made little brother to the popular Brahma fixed knife introduced in 2015. This smaller version has all the same features at a little over 1.5 inches less overall length. It will make a great companion in the field or the wilderness.
The Blade: A traditional military clip styled blade here with a black oxide finish. Right about 4 inches of cutting edge for utility around camp, slicing, tearing or skinning. It has a integral guard to keep fingers out of harm's way and a nice pointy tip for piercing. This guy is hollow ground and quite sharp right out of the Buck box.
The Handle: Quite robust for its size which is great as it fills the hand for a solid grip while cutting. Stacked leather with Micarta spacers form the handle making an all-weather grip. A knocker pommel is great for backup and has an extended lanyard hole cutout to personalize and make your own.
The 117 Small Brahma from Buck will serve its owner well. It's compact, lightweight yet tough enough to get the job done. It comes with a black leather and polyester sheath that is MOLLE compatible.
