Case produces many of their patterns with wood handles. The Case lacewood handle series has beautifully finished lacewood handles and tru-sharp stainless steel blades. Lacewood is an exotic wood which comes from a silky oak tree and has a very unique wood grain pattern. The lacewood Case knives have a traditional oval shield, nickel silver bolsters and brass liners.
