Case Mammoth Ivory

One of the exceptional handle materials used by W.R. Case and Sons is mammoth ivory. The scales used on these pieces are crafted from fossilized mammoth ivory which is mined from permafrost of Siberian Russia. As the handle scales crafted from the mammoth ivory are thousands of years old, they are often different in texture as well as color. The Case mammoth ivory knives have tru-sharp stainless steel blades, nickel silver bolsters and liners. Each knife is accompanied by a black velvet box and a certificate of origination.
