We have a Chad Nell Patton Flipper featuring a dual Zirconium/Titanium handle with TiMascus stripe inlay and clip brand new direct from the maker. It has a gorgeous 3.5 inch harpoon-styled drop blade that glides on silky smooth encased bearings. The grinds, including upper swedge, have a hand rubbed satin finish while the flats have a dressy horizontal satin finish.
Around 8.5 inches overall, the Patton is bordering the large end of tactical folders with excellent balance in hand. The front scale of zirconium has lightening holes that add a nice grip. A slanted piece of TiMascus has been inlaid for a nice accent.
The frame lock scale is made of Titanium and has a light grey bead blast finish. The silver look to the Ti compliments the Zirc quite naturally and provides light texturing. The frame lock has exceptional lockup and smooth functioning.
The integral flipper has light notching with a medium-strong detent for lightning fast deployment. The Patton comes equipped with a tip-up carry TiMascus pocket clip, machined cutouts on the front for added grip and lanyard hole. Includes a zipper pouch, patch and signed specs card from maker Chad Nell.
