Details

The TiLock is a unique collaboration between Chris Reeve and the brilliant minds of Grant and Gavin Hawk. It's defining feature is the Ti-Lock mechanism, a titanium bar built into the blade that falls neatly into place when open. The same silicon bronze lugs act as both the opening and closing mechanism for the knife. This version of the TiLock is an annual computer graphic known as "In Motion".

The 2017 Annual TiLock Graphic is a brand new item directly from Chris Reeve Knives, USA.

The Blade: The blade of the Ti-Lock is a fully tumbled piece of CPM-S35VN with a darkened titanium lock bar attached for both aesthetic and function. It's drop point blade has a hollow grind with a razor sharp polished edge applied. Silicon bronze lugs are present for both opening and closing this knife.

The Handle: Much like the original Ti-Lock, this knife has a full tumbled titanium handle. For this limited yearly graphic however, Chris Reeve chose to mill a circular pattern representing motion into both sides of the frame. The show side is much more embellished and includes a small orange-ish red garnet cabochon inlay.  Another Hawk invention is the clothespin style clip affixed to the rear of the knife for tip up right handed carry.

The Packaging: "In Motion' ships in a CRK box with microfiber cloth, small calfskin pouch, 1 Allen wrench, and a tube of fluorinated grease with dated information packet.
