Chris Reeve knives are known for their innovation and quality, with a superb customer service department to back it all up. Over their more than 20 year history, Chris Reeve has continued to develop and improve their knife line into one of the finest quality products on the market. These knives are often considered semi-custom, being made mostly on a CNC mill but with many hand finishing techniques and a tremendous amount of attention to detail. Several custom options are available on these knives, including thumb pin configurations, unique hand machined designs, and a wide range of rare and exotic handle materials. Chris Reeve continues to raise the bar, updating their ever popular Sebenza knife, and expanding their line of one-piece fixed blade knives. The company also refurbishes their Sebenza and One-Piece knives for a small fee.
The Chris Reeve Sebenza has been a staple in the knife industry for several years. It's titanium frame lock design provides a simple but tough body, and its CPM-S30V blade holds a superior edge. The handle of the Sebenza is often inlayed with micarta or machined and anodized with some truly breathtaking artwork done by Lisa. Once a year these knives are available in a limited run of rare and exotic woods and other materials such as ivory or mammoth. For a nominal fee the Chris Reeve Sebenza is also available with an inset cabochon or blade customization options.
The One-Piece or Integral fixed blades CRK produces are made from one solid piece of A2 tool steel, machined and hollowed to perfection. Each knife in the Chris reeve One-Piece line features an aluminum removable butt cap, which is perfect for a compass and is designed to be used as a hammer in an emergency situation. These knives have a hollow handle which seals up airtight, which can be used to house a survival kit, but were originally designed to save weight. Each knife comes with a custom quality leather sheath.
