Designed with a tactical aesthetic and classic Japanese influence, the CRKT Aux Folder 1220 is another well thought out design collaboration with custom knife maker Lucas Burnley that is sure to find a place in your every day carry rotation. This knife is essentially a scaled-down version of Burnley's Aux fixed blade built on a robust, stainless steel liner lock platform.
The Blade:The blade has a tactical influences with out drawing attention to itself. The swedge-sporting, satin finished, spear point blade can pierce well and the hollow grind provides top-level slicing. A knurled thumb disk provides easy, ambidextrous, one-handed opening in all situations.
The Handle: A pair of tough, stainless steel liners create the frame work for this folder. Mounted to the liners are lightweight and surprisingly tough Glass Reinforced Nylon handle scales. A moderately aggressive texture gives a comfortable, secure, and ergonomic grip even in adverse conditions. One of the stainless steel liners acts as a secure locking mechanism that can be easily operated one-handed.
Carries via a right hand, tip-up, stainless steel deep-carry clip.
