The Blade:  Danish knife maker Jesper Voxnaes designed the Batum 5453 with hard use and utility in mind. The clean lines Voxnaes is known for give this knife a refined look a more refined look. The beefy, saber ground blade is tough enough for hard use while the height of the blade allows for the edge to be fine enough for slicing tasks. The short swedge helps to give some point to this tank of a knife while keeping the tip very tough. The blade opens smoothly via the asymmetrical thumb hole easily used right or left handed. 

The Handle: A robust, stainless steel frame lock makes operation of the Batum frame lock is smooth and secure while a liner-less G10 front scale helps to reduce weight while adding additional traction. A choil in the blade and deep index finger cutout enhance the security in-hand and chamfered edges all around make this knife comfortable during extended use.
