The CRKT Directive Tanto 1062 is a lightweight, every day carry folder designed by custom maker Matthew Lerch of Sussex, Wisconsin. The utilitarian blade has a robust construction to handle tough tasks and the liner lock and flipper deployment make one-hand operation a breeze. The Directive is a focused design that is a robust and effective EDC folder.
The Blade: The reverse tanto blade has a robust tip and high-height grind giving the best combination of cutting performance and strength. It comes with a black oxide finish for a clean look and deploys smoothly and easily via the index flipper. A deep index finger choil gives additional control for fine cutting tasks.
The Handle: A pair of tough, stainless steel liners create the frame work for this folder. Mounted to the liners are two lightweight, two-tone, Glass Reinforced Nylon handle scales giving a comfortable, secure, and ergonomic grip. One of the stainless steel liners acts as a secure locking mechanism that can be easily operated one-handed.
The 4-Position, stainless steel pocket clip allows ambidextrous carry.
