The HCK1 Hood Camp knife has been created in collaboration with Karen Hood, wife of late survival expert Ron Hood. This large fixed blade knife is designed to handle all the necessary tasks at the campsite. Starting with a sand blasted 1095 tool steel blade that is flat ground for excellent cutting ability and Cerakoted for corrosion resistance. Deep notches along the spine give extra control when doing more delicate work. Screwed on Black Micarta handle scales look great and provide good grip in wet conditions. Includes an extremely nice custom sheath that like the knife is made in the USA. Constructed from vegetable tanned 6/7 oz leather that has been hand oiled and stitched with heavy weight nylon thread. Will fit belts up to 2 inches and includes a small pouch for accessories. Brand new direct from CRKT.
