CRKT M21-10KSF Serrated Tactical Flipper by Kit Carson

Kit Carson was a high level member of the Knifemakers' Guild, member of the Cutlery Hall of Fame, and mentor renowned knife make Ken Onion. Kit designed the successful M16 knife series, one of Blade Magazine's Top 10 Tactical Folders of the Decade. The M21 is part of the M16 family and is just as functional and utilitarian as its predecessors. The M21-10KSF is a dual guard, partially serrated recurve frame lock that has been scaled down in size for every day carry and use while retaining the robust build and military-inspired design. The Blade: The M21 has a sweeping, big-bellied blade with a slight recurve. This blade design paired with a shallow hollow-grind and a relatively long swedge make the M21 a formidable cutting tool. The addition of Triple Point Serrations near the handle enhance performance where aggressive cutting is required on fibrous materials such as rope. The knife opens easily via the thumb-stud/stop pins or the flipper tab. The flipper tab also doubles as one of the dual guards that help prevent slipping onto the handle during intense use. 

The Handle: A classic handle design the M21-10KSF has a solid stainless steel handle with a corrosion resistant black oxide finish with a variety of holes for traction and weight reduction. The frame lock provides solid lock up and easy, one-handed use. The open back construction makes cleaning and maintenance simple and easy. The robust pivot is easily adjustable via a flat head driver. 

Included is a stainless steel pocket clip set up for tip down, right hand carry.
