The Blade: A modified wharncliffe style that's very popular these days for its utility straight edge with a bit of an upsweep for slicing. Plus every good user blade needs a point and this one is no different. Cutting, slicing piercing. Check, check and check. It has a welcomed black oxide finish for non-reflectivity and just a cool appearance with a thumb slot cutout opener. This window means it can be opened from either side in a pinch or easily pulled up and out with the thumb and index. Just about half an inch of spine jimping for comfort.

The Handle: Injection molded red and black combo has fine texturing for grip and a front lock access cutout that also works well for finger placement. Solid black liners construction with one forming the reliable locking mechanism in the open position. Accenting black Torx hardware and a short lanyard attachment backspacer complete construction. The Sketch carries via a single position tip up right handed pocket clip.
