The PeaceDuke Flipper from Custom Knife Factory comes from a batch of 300 pieces made. This is a stout, medium-sized folder featuring tough components and comfortable stylings.
The Blade: Right around 2.75 inches of sharpened upswept M390 super stainless goodness. Done in a Sheepsfoot-style with compound grinds, forward choil and comfy thumb scoop on the spine. The PeaceDuke has real slicing power. It has a lovely heavy tumbled finish with an integral notched flipper tab for speedy deployment. It rides on bearings and has a right-where-you-want-it medium/strong detent for sweet action.
The Handle: Two titanium slabs with smooth ergonomic edges are heavily stonewashed and constructed with a notched titanium backs pacer. The show slab features a beauty of an inlay of material not-yet so-commonly used, Blue CTEK. This type focuses on running the fibers of the material one-way instead of cross-sectioned for a unique, wavy look. It has a nice, soft finish to the touch. Vault-like frame lockup on this beast with steel insert/over travel protection on the lockface.
The PeaceDuke from CKF is such a solid, comfortable design. It's great for every day tasks as well as handling some hard use if called upon. Premium materials coupled with dark, modern twists make this another home run from the guys at Custom Knife Factory. It comes in a CKF zipper pouch with Certificate of Authenticity, micro fiber cloth, extra hardware and bonus left-hand titanium pocket clip for tip-up carry.
