Emerson Knives and Multitasker Tools have collaborated to create the Emerson EDC-2 Multitool. Emerson received many requests from their loyal knife users for a multitool and they answered the pleas with the first Emerson Multitool design, the Emerson EDC. The trimmed up lighter, latest version EDC-2 features a black oxide 440C stainless steel Micro Commander styled plain edged blade which also boasts the patented Emerson Wave for instant out of pocket use. OD Green G10 handles and stainless steel liners house the blade, as well as a beefier Phillips head screwdriver, slimmed down flat head screwdriver (fits older Emerson pivot screws) and an awl punch/scraper. The knife blade and awl lock open with a convenient liner lock mechanism, while both of the screwdrivers utilize a new toggle locking system. The screwdrivers have stop points at 90 and 180 degrees making them more reliable for hard use. A stainless steel Emerson pocket clip has been attached for tip-up carry. The EDC-2 is brand new directly from Emerson Knives and Multitasker Tools.
