Enrique Pena Custom Diesel 4.5 2-Tone Titanium Flipper

The Custom Diesel 4.5 2-Tone Flipper from maker Enrique Peña is an outstanding every day carry size. Very nice ergonomics, materials and flipping action make the Diesel 4.5 hard to beat. This one is brand new direct from maker.

The Blade: A little over 3 inches of hair-popping cutting edge on this utility drop point. An upper swedge grind brings the tip down to a nice point for piercing if necessary. Some short jimping on the upper ramp is just comfy enough with the integral flipper tab to guard your digits. Some light notching on that tab makes flipping a breeze. Very nice medium detent and caged bearings aid to the overall outstanding action. A two-toned finish on this one with acid washed grinds and horizontal satin flats.

The Handle: Two thick titanium scales have a dark grey bead-blast/tumbled finish with five lightening hole cutouts on the front. They're polished around the edges for that custom touch and are a nice place for your fingers to rest. The frame lockup is perfect, early and rock solid. Disengagement is easily performed one-handed. Construction is a ridged titanium backspacer matching the handle's finish with hidden lanyard pin.
