Gerber Bear Grylls Ultimate Knife designed by Gerber Knives in collaboration with History Channel survivalist, Bear Grylls. Between all the features of the knife and sheath combined, this truly is the ultimate survival tool. The knife is composed of a full tang of high carbon stainless steel which has been partially serrated for tough cutting jobs. An ergonomically friendly handle of textured rubber allows for a very comfortable and non-slip grip. At the butt end of the knife, you will find a stainless steel pommel for hammering and lanyard attached emergency whistle. A heavy duty sheath is included which has a nylon outer carry attachment and hard molded nylon casing for the blade. A velcro attachment holds the hard casing to the nylon and can be undone to reveal a diamond sharpening stone hidden on the backside. The sheath also houses a ferrocerium fire starter, which snaps into the front. A small area on the spine of the blade was specially designed for striking the fire starter. Lastly, Land to Air rescue instructions and Bear's Priorites of Survival pocket guide are also included. Made in China.
