Brand new TMA Prototype Flipper by Grindhouse Knives featuring 1x1 Twill Carbon Fiber with a Blued titanium frame locker direct from maker Sam Jones. The TMA is a workhorse in a pocket friendly package.
The Blade: A little over 2.50 inches of cutting edge on this modified sheepsfoot. It has a nice hand-rubbed satin finish and wicked wharny looks. The thumb scoop cutout on the spine along with the choil is comfortable and allows the user to choke up a bit for finer cutting tasks. The .215 inch thick XHP steel rides on a ball bearings pivot system for silky smooth operation. It is marked PROTO on the back.
The Handle: .190 inch thick blued titanium frame locker on this one with a slimmer, matching .063 Ti liner on the presentation side. A gorgeous 1x1 twill carbon fiber front scale is secured to the liner with bronze titanium screws. A silicon bronze back bar goes together nicely with the hardware. The handle is contoured and fills the palm nicely for its size.
The TMA comes with a tip-up Bronze UNOB clip, specs card and drawstring pouch.
