Designed by renowned custom knifemaker, Allen Elishewitz, the Hogue EX01 Large Tanto has an exceptional look and feel. A fierce tanto styled blade, manufactured from 154CM has been cryo treated to provide additional strength, hardness and performance. This folder is lightweight for carry, as the handle is tough g-mascus with no heavy liners. G-mascus, a play on "damascus steel," has been made from green G10 and has black and gray circular accents. For added comfort and control, a textured area on the front of the handle and notching along the spine has been added to the handle. Tapered dual stainless thumb studs allow for quick one-handed access of the blade. Fully opened and locked, the blade is immovable as a solid steel pin obstructs the blade from closing. The button lock on the front side of the handle easily releases the blade and can be operated with one hand. A lock safety has also been attached to the front of the handle Stainless steel pocket clip with Hogue logo has been attached for tip-up or tip-down right-handed carry. Made in USA.
