The Custom James McGowan Mini MAK is designed after his very popular MAK 1 to be a useful rescue tool that is small and discreet. This Multiple Access Tool can by used as a mini prybar or general utility knife and scraper. It has a small and compact form factor that can easily slip in a pocket or even be worn as a neck knife. The Blade: Full tang of nearly 3/16" thick high carbon stainless steel that has been formed into a chisel tipped blade. The tip of the blade is a blunt chisel that is ideal for instances when prying is required. A 6MM notch on the spine can be used as a wrench or hook onto an object to twist.
The Handle: Aggressive notching where the thumb would rest as well as a textured blue G10 handle offer a comfortable and functional grip. Two lanyard holes are provided to allow for attachment of paracord. Includes a molded Kydex sheath.
James McGowan is a custom knifemaker and designer from Ontario, Canada. James has a background in firefighting and produces knives that can hold up to any challenge. He designs mostly hard-use fixed blades with handle materials varying anywhere from rayskin to G10. He is a member of the Canadian Knifemakers' Guild and well known for his designs with Columbia River Knife and Tool.
