Details

Brand New from maker Jonathan Mcnees custom Skybolt Flipper featuring a matte gray Titanium frame lock handle and stealthy sharp CPM-3V blade. The Skybolt is a large folder that is well-balanced and lightweight for its size. It flips like a dream and has strong, early lockup.

The Blade: Four inches of hollow ground CPM-3V tool steel goodness formed to a modified spear point style. CPM-3V tool steel is proven to be one of the highest performing carbon steels on the market today. It's tougher than O1 and 5160 plus easier to sharpen than D2 and S30V. As with Jon's knives, it is quite sharp right out of the pouch. A matte grey bead-blasted/tumbled finish with slight upper swedge grind. There is a large scoop cutout on the spine that will fit your entire thumb. Perfect for choking up during detailed cutting tasks. There is also an inverted, short thumb ramp with two deep notches for grip. This beast deploys via an integral flipper tab exposed from the back of the handle. It rides on an internal bearing system with exceptional detent for silky smooth action.

The Handle: Two ergonomic slabs of titanium with smooth edges and custom texturing on the lockbar. A nice bead-blast, lightly tumbled gray finish throughout. Four hole cutouts help lighten the load. The titanium is accented with open standoffs and a textured pivot head. The hole cutouts also add a nice place for your fingers to rest when gripping the handle.

The Skybolt Flipper includes a tip-up carry titanium pocket clip, signed specs card/business card from the maker with Mcnees Velcro pouch.
