The Kabar USMC Commemorative knife is Kabar's classic USMC knife with beautiful blade art to honor the men and women who serve our Country. The blade is full tang carbon steel that has been black coated to help prevent corrosion. A stainless steel guard and pommel have been attached with a stacked leather handle in between. Grooves in the stacked leather provide a secure grip for any job. The blade art on this model is done in gold colored paint and made to specifically honor first responders, firefighters, police, EMT's, military and all others involved in the rescue efforts of 9/11. An image of the New York skyline with the twin towers is depicted on the blade. The knife bears a USMC tang stamp on the back of the blade. Includes a traditionally styled leather belt sheath with the USMC logo on the front. Made in USA.
