Details

The LionSteel KUR tactical folding knife is designed by Michele "Molletta" Pensato. Similar to his earlier model, the TRE, but with a longer and wider blade that shows that this flipper means business. It's solid construction with excellent fit and finish are easily recognized. Big and bold but light for it's size, this folding knife is easy to live with day to day.

Brand new from Lion Steel, Italy.

Blade: Drop point design has a flat grind for great slicing ability and is made from wear resistant Sleipner steel. Stonewash blade has a rounded spine and flipper that gives it a high end polished look and feel. Another attention to detail is the ball bearing pivot system that provides for a smooth deployment on every use.

Handle: Thick G10 scales have a 3D machined texture for grip without being too coarse and ruff on your pockets. The scales have been machined out to accept steel liners that give the knife strength while helping to keep weight under control. A relief cut in the top scale provides easy access to the steel liner lock. The use of titanium for the backspacer adds additional strength and adds an extended lanyard hole. For the times when the knife is not is use, the deep carry wire pocket clip helps to maintain a low profile.

Sleipner : is a cold work tool steel from Bohler-Uddeholm with an attainable hardness of 60-64 Hrc. This modification of the classic AISI D2 tool steel, Sleipner has improved toughness compared to D2 with good wear and chipping resistance. Lionsteel has had better edge holding performance compared to M390.
