Mcusta delivers tactical elegance in the MC-4 Series Katana Folders. Inspired by the classic Japanese sword, these are fully functional tactical liner lock knives that are stylish enough for gentleman's carry but hardy enough for serious use. One hand operation is standard and all this model has been updated with a reversible deep carry stainless steel pocket clip for tip-up carry. This version comes with black anodized handles with green highlights and a San Mai clad VG-10, Tanto blade.

Blade: The San Mai VG-10 stainless steel blade opens smoothly on Mcusta's special oiled washer system via dual thumb studs. A sloping spine ends at the powerful piercing Tanto point and while the high saber grind delivers a balance of slicing performance and good durability. The clad San Mai construction delivers a faux Hamon line which adds visual appeal and is another Katana inspired element.

Handle: Robust steel liners support lightweight, durable, anodized aluminum handle scales that are milled with grooves for added traction. Strategic jimping on the liners offers added security in multiple grips while the clean, tapered design is ergonomic for use. The liner lock mechanism is strong, intuitive and reliable for use.

Carries via a reversible, tip-up, deep carry clip.

San Mai VG10: VG-10 is a high-carbon stainless steel that takes a very good edge and holds it well. Popular with Japanese kitchen knife makers it is often hardened to 60-61 HRC A popular choice for small pocket knives thanks to good edge holding and stain resistance VG10 works well with a high polished, acute edge for optimal slicing performance. San Mai cladding gives the blade added durability and corrosion resistance.
