The Mick Strider Performance Series *Non-Locking* PT Titanium is an evolution to the much revered production PT with a sleek asymmetrically ground slicer blade and a stonewashed titanium handle. Open standoff construction and contoured handle lends itself to discreet pocket carry and also feels nice in the hand. Mick built this pint-sized Strider without a lock for areas with super strict folding knife laws. Brand new directly from Strider Knives.
The Blade: Grey chromium nitride coated CPM-S30V form the clean lines of the bellied blade while the asymmetrical edge grind produces extreme sharpness. The hole opener provides access, but takes a bit more effort than a standard blade to open. Mick added two detent holes since it doesn't lock, thus more effort is needed to overcome the force of the detents. The blade stops are substantially smaller than the production versions for a more refined look. M.Strider has been laser marked at the finger choil.
The Handle: Dual contoured titanium slabs are heavily stonewashed that include full titanium hardware including handle screws, standoffs and pivot. Open back for easy cleaning. MSC logo'd titanium pocket clip attached for tip up right handed carry. Features laser engraved MSC logo on clip. Mick cut out a non-functioning lock bar for this PT so the user could add a lock in the future.
The Pouch: A black nylon CSM Gear zipper pouch is included with this MSC Performance PT for safe keeping or carry. Zipper closure with inner padded pocket. Outer has loop side for attachment of patches.
