Mike Irie Custom Model 12 Flipper Carbon Fiber

The Model 12 Flipper brand new direct from custom knife maker Mike Irie has clean lines, modern materials and buttery smooth flipping action. This one is a good medium-large sized folder with Mike's hunting-inspired blade shape making it the perfect companion.

The Blade: Big-bellied drop point style with upper swedge grind great for every day utility or in the field. 3.5 inch blade is built from premium CPM-154 steel and given Mike's famous horizontal hand-rubbed satin finish. There's small jimping on the thumb rest for precise cutting and an integral flipper tab to deploy the cutting power just as soon as you need it. It rides on a ball bearings pivot for absolutely effortless flipping. Dead-on detent for no wrist-action necessary operation. It locks up solid and disengages easily.

The Handle: Ultra light, ultra durable carbon fiber scales meet up with brushed titanium bolsters for a handsome appeal. They're secured to lightly blue anodized titanium liners with gold Ti backspacer construction. One of the custom finishing touches Mike added to this piece is a Beryllium Copper pivot collar on both sides. The Ti liner lockup is spot on.

Included in this Model 12 Flipping package is a tip up titanium pocket clip with blue accents for pocket carry and signed specs card from maker Mike Irie.
