The Blade: The hand-ground "dagger" blade sports a single, hollow ground edged with slight recurve for exceptional slicing performance and rides on a caged ball bearing pivot system for glassy smooth flipping action. The upper hollow grind is unsharpened but makes for a well balanced blade with an acute point for piercing. The bi-directional satin finish gives this relatively large blade a very classy look, fitting for the top-tier quality of Mr. Doucette's knives.

The Handle: Ergonomic and contoured, the handle scales of this knife are made from a beautiful shred Carbon Fiber with bright and eye-catching Copper flakes for an attractive look. Blasted and Bronze anodized bolsters are matched flawlessly with the carbon fiber scales and attached to matching, beefy titanium liners with matching bronze anodized Torx hardware. The design of the handle, with a thumb scoop at the spine and deep index finger choil, lock this knife securely in the hand with the flipper tab doing double duty as a guard for the index finger. The beefy titanium liner lock is simple, smooth, and reliable. A right-hand, tip-up, 3D machined titanium pocket clip and jimped backspacer are finished to match the blasted, bronze anodized titanium utilized throughout this piece.
