The Shogun Flipper model from maker Randy Doucette features fierce, tactical looks and premium materials. The clean lines and rugged appeal really set off this completely hand made custom folder.
The Blade: A four inch multi-ground modified tanto piercing blade is fully satin finished and flies on ball bearings at the pivot. Two crazy sharp cutouts in the blade add a futuristic look. A small ramp is present just before the upper swedge grind on the spine. This blade is mean.
The Handle: A foundation of blue anodized titanium rest below Curly Koa wood handle scales and smoky carbon fiber bolsters. The ergonomics are fantastic with two pronounced finger grooves with wide end to the handle. A two-tone titanium grid backspacer runs down the back channel around the bottom half of the handle. All black hardware and tip-up carry carbon fiber pocket clip bring the whole piece together.
The Shogun Flipper isn't messing around. It's big and bad and has a balance unlike anything you've felt before. Randy has a knack for creating perfect balance and it couldn't be truer on this Shogun.
