After the wild success of the custom version, custom maker Rick Barrett has teamed up with Reate to produce the Fallout 2.0. A medium to large sized knife, the Reate Fallout has a radical design that stands out amongst todays typical knives. If you're looking for a statement piece the Fallout should easily catch your eye and will still function well as an everyday user.
The Blade: Always one to use premium steels, Reate chose CTS-204P for this project. The blade has a compound ground surface, with two smaller flat grinds and a large deep hollow towards the back for serious cutting power. Silky smooth bearings and a well positioned flipper make the blade on this one fly out with ease.
The Handle: 3D machined titanium adorns the frame on the Fallout, with a great texture applied to the back half of the handle providing good grip without being too aggressive. The lockside has a frame lock cutout with replaceable steel insert and a heavy duty milled titanium clip for everyday carry.
