Richard Rogers has a knack for creating simple flowing designs that are functional and pleasing to the eye. This Slim Utility model is a throwback to slipjoints, but with many modern features that one would want in a smaller in-pocket carry knife. Comes brand new from his lottery at the USN Gathering 2016.
The Blade: A bit of a sheepsfoot-spear hybrid, the blade can easily be opened one-handed using the milled recess in the blade. The surface has been finely blasted and has a rich look and feel not found among many blades these days. Richard doesn't mess around, as this one comes extremely sharp.
The Frame: The handle of this knife is made from carbon fiber with a great blasted texture. It uses a single titanium backspacer which has been anodized green to match the titanium handle screws and single titanium liner; all of which help to keep this knife at an extremely light 1.40 ounces.
