The Blade: Chris chose the unique AEB-L stainless steel for this whopping cleaver construction. AEB-L is like a stainless 52100. It is known for its ability to take  a very fine edge (originally developed for razor blades) with an extreme high level of corrosion resistance. Its primary carbides are very large giving it excellent toughness, edge retention and ease of sharpening. Chris hand rubbed this one and gave the edge a mirror polishing for a super clean look. It operates via an integral flipper tab and smooth ball bearings pivot system. 

The Handle: Full titanium frame design here with frame lock creating a sleek design. All the Ti has been bead-blasted complimenting the carbon fiber onlays and black TiMascus well. It has open barrel spacers construction and a tip up single position pocket clip. The curvy ergo's of the frame rest quite comfortably in the palm.
