Shun Classics are named such for their classic design. The Shun Classic series features classic European shapes for their knife blades and handles. The blades on the Shun Classics are a 33 layer Clad VG-10, which means there are sixteen layers on each side of a single piece of VG-10 stainless steel. The 33 layers are clad together by using extreme heat and pressure. The blades feature a double beveled edge, which is also a classic component. The handles are produced of pakka wood and ergonomically designed to give perfect control and reduce hand fatigue.
