The Spyderco ARK or "Always Ready Knife" was meant for carry as a discreet neck knife with a small footprint. Conceived as a personal defense knife by U.S. Army combat veteran John Shirley and his friend Sam Owens, the Ark is meant to be a go-anywhere back up. Developed as a small self defense tool, this piece has a sharply pointed H-1 super stainless upswept blade and a deep finger choil in the handle. Grippy FRN is affixed for a sure grip, and an injection molded sheath with ball chain is included. Bi-Directional Texturing ensures a solid grip, even when wet. The ARK is brand new direct from Spyderco.
