The Spyderco Bradley Folder 2 has all the great features of the original like: Carbon Fiber/G10 laminate scales, plain edge hollow ground CPM-M4 powder steel blade and flush-finished liner lock mechanism. This second generation model designed by maker Gayle Bradley is slimmer and lighter than the original with a slightly longer handle.
Improved overall ergonomics provide a comfortable feel in hand. Full skeletonized stainless steel liners and standoff barrel spacers construction add to the improved lighter carry.
With it's great cutting prowess and excellent edge retention this knife makes for a great EDC. Comes with a four-position black hourglass clip for tip-up or down ambidextrous carry. Brand new direct from Spyderco.M4 is another in the Molybdenum High Speed Tool Steels. It has a relatively high 1.3% carbon content for high hardness and excellent wear resistance. It offers better wear resistance and toughness than M2 or M3 alloys. Remember, however, that M4 is a tool steel - NOT a stainless - and must be wiped down/oiled after use to avoid corrosion.
