A new twist on the classic Endura 4 model from Spyderco Knives involves an ancient Japanese dyeing technique known as Zome (pronounced "zoh-may"). This is a special technique for dyeing textiles and creating patterns using dyes from plants, flowers, fruit and other natural sources. Spyderco used these special dyes to completely permeate their FRN handles uniquely and permanently coloring them.
The Blade: Fully flat ground VG-10 steel featuring a razor sharp edge and stunning satin finish. Spyderco's ambidextrous thumb hole opener is present as well as a textured thumb ramp.
The Handle: Green Zome dye palette was chosen for this model that has a jungle or camo look to it. Light to OD dark green colors run throughout the handle. Bi-directional texturing for grip and sturdy lock back mechanism for confident cutting. Included with the Zome Green Endura is a four-position black pocket clip for carry.
Deep-rooted in Japanese culture are the family of Zome Knives from Spyderco. Add some color to your rotation!
