Spyderco Magnitude Carey Carbon Fiber Flipper C212CFP

The Magnitude is based on the Peter Carey's lauded custom design. This full size rendition of his work is equally at home operating with it's integral flipper or by the traditional Spyderco round thumb hole. Some may say this is a larger version of the Rubicon and just as curvaceous.

The Blade: Hollow ground long sweeping blade edge with thick spine and strong swedged tip. When opened the blade drops down below the handle for excellent ergonomics while in use. The premium steel has satin machined grinds and raised round thumb hole. It's ultra smooth action comes from the use of bearing washers in the pivot.

The Handle: Full skeletonized titanium liners are the backbone of the strong liner-lock mechanism. A scalloped brown G10 backspacer ties in with the brown inlaid accent of the pivot hardware. Full 3D machined twill carbon fiber handle scales form a deep finger groove and dropped handle for extreme comfort. Includes a custom pocket clip setup for right side tip up carry.

CPM S30V is a hard form of steel crystalline structure stainless steel designed to offer the best combination of toughness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Its chemistry has been specially balanced to promote the formation of vanadium carbides which are harder and more effective than chromium carbides in providing wear resistance.
