Having gone through many changes and iterations since its introduction in the early 2000s, the Manix 2 is a more compact Maxix that is perfect for everyday carry while still offering full size knife performance. This version of the Manix 2 hearkens back to the Manix 83 mm, the original Manix 2, with a mid-back lock, linerless, ultra-fine Black G10 handles and a satin finished CPM-S30V blade.

Blade: A iconic, broad leaf shaped blade is delivered in fully flat ground, satin finished CPM-S30V for a great balance of slicing geometry, piercing capability and durability with a razor sharp cutting edge. A large, 14 mm RoundHole provides easy ambidextrous deployment on a smooth, phosphor bronze washer pivot with excellent action thanks to the Golden-made Mid-back lock detent. For optimal safety and control during use the jimped thumb ramp and index finger choil duo are unbeatable.

Handle: A stainless steel partial back spacer and lock bar are housed between two thick, linerless black G10 scales. The scales have a very fine texture for a great in-hand feel while the ergonomic design includes a pinky hook, subtle finger grooves and a nice palm swell, Secure and comfortable in the hand, this version forgoes the jimping for enhanced comfort while retaining the prominent index guard and forward choil. Robust in construction and smooth in operation, the mid-back lock is easy to operate and rock solid reliable in lockup. A generously large hole is provided for lanyard attachment.

Carries via a 4-position stainless steel Hourglass clip.

CPM-S30V: A powdered stainless steel with high levels of edge retention and corrosion resistance S30V was developed specifically for use in knife blades. The powdered process gives it a very refined grain, improving the sharpness and toughness. S30V is a great, all around steel with high levels of performance.
