The Spyderco Yojimbo 2 is a second generation self-defense knife designed by martial artist and Martial Blade Concepts innovator Michael Janich. The design, ergonomics, and high performance materials make this folder a "go-to" every day carry folder choice for many users. This Limited version of the Yojimbo 2 features textured coyote Brown handle scales with a premium Black CPM S90V blade and is brand new, built at the Spyderco factory in Golden, CO USA Earth.

The Blade: The Yojimbo2 has a viscous 3.25" hollow ground, giving it a stronger tip than its predecessor, CPM-S90V Wharncliffe style stainless steel blade. To stealth this one up a bit, Spyderco has treated the blade with a black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating. This wear-resistant application is non-reflective and will protect the steel from hard use over time. The thumb rest was left smooth on this version so the thumb can slide right on to the spine without tearing it up

The Handle: The peel-ply textured brown G10 scales have refined ergonomics giving a hollow feel in the palm as opposed to concave in the first one. Black Torx screw construction secures them to nested stainless steel liners and a Compression lock gives it a better overall blade strength. The handle is shorter emphasizing maximum striking control.

Features a four-way reversible black steel pocket clip for right/left hand tip-up or down carry. 

CPM S90V is a martensitic stainless steel that provides excellent wear resistance and good corrosion resistance. CPM S90V offers much better wear resistance than 440C and D-2, while providing corrosion resistance equal to or better than 440C. The toughness of CPM S90V is slightly better than 440C. The high carbon content combines with the vanadium to form vanadium carbides, which provides the wear resistance, while leaving the chromium free to provide the corrosion resistance.
