Description

For 2012, Spyderco is bringing back a limited sprint run release of the familiar Meerkat design. This Spyderco Meerkat has a flat ground VG-10 blade which forms a useful modified drop-point. A finger choil and spine cusp are also found on this blade for comfortable in hand operation. The blade is housed within burgundy FRN handle scales which have been sculpted with divots for a comfortable grip. One of the most unique characteristics of the Meerkat is it's locking mechanism, known as a Phantom Lock. The Phantom Lock allows for you to slide the handle scales in opposite directions making for quick and simply unlocking of your blade. A right or left-handed tip-down wire clip has been attached for pocket or gear carry.
