Steve Kelly Gulo Marbled Carbon and Nichols Damscus Folder

The Gulo folder from custom maker Steve Kelly out of Bigfork, Montana is for those who like to carry in style. This is a tactical design with a gentleman's carry aesthetic. Here are the highlights: Nichols Stainless Damascus, Marbled Carbon Fiber, Zirconium Bolsters, Bronze anodized titanium hardware and liners with Engine Turning. Sleek, smooth, fit and functional. The Blade: Built from gorgeous swirling Nichols stainless Damascus, this sweeping drop point was hollow ground by Steve and accented with his Bronze Ti dual thumb stud openers. Action on the blade is precision smooth and fast riding on phosphor bronze washers. The blade has lots of look and plenty of function for the collector and user alike.

The Handle: Subtly contoured marble carbon fiber scales and Zirconium bolsters are secured to thick anodized titanium liners with Steve's TiConnector bronze hardware. He file worked about 80% of the spine of the titanium liners and jeweled the inner liners for that custom touch. Other custom accents on this piece include the textured lock recess and cut out used to operate the liner lock. Completely open construction shows off the file work and the three bronze barrel spacers used for the construction. The Gulo is outfitted with a tip up Zirconium pocket clip set up for right hand carry.
